Nine years ago, The Pride Luau made a smash landing at G Lounge, forever changing the face of New York City Gay Pride. This year our survivors find themselves on the tiny island of Manhattan at the infamous lounge. Tune in for season 9… Only at New York City's Best Gay Bar. While many will get Lei'd, will these survivors finally get off?
Inspired by the kitschy tiki-bars of the 60's, every year Mark Lander transforms the lounge into a colorful, tropical oasis for the Gay Pride festivities. This year's promotion featuring G's promoters, hosts, and DJs as The Lost Castaways.
Kick off the celebration on Thursday with DJ tag-team Kindbud and Lina and our go-gos at Gorgeous. Friday night Drew G is back for Hottie Hour. Then on Saturday the amazing DJ Bill Coleman commands the room.
Sunday's main event, The Pride Luau begins at one o'clock in the afternoon with the first of our castaway headliners, Q'Tea DJ Scotty Rocks with host Freddie Bracero. Latenight, Küte's fabulous DJ extraordinaire — Xavier — will drive the room into a tropical tizzy!
It's all going on Pride week at G Lounge, voted by HX readers as New York's best Gay Bar. Just steps away from the Parade and Pier, G's a convenient stop all day and all night for some much needed refreshments! Have a safe and happy Pride... and be sure to come to G to Get Lei'd!
