If you don’t know her by her fierce look, you know her by her fierce beats and every Thursday, Our Lady of Gorgeous turns this place into her temple!

Lina. Linish. Susie-sometimes-all-the-time-surprise. Sugar, call her what you will but she is no joke around these parts. A 14-year veteran, DJ Lina started spinning on a dare. She describes her first time in the booth as an erotic experience: “There was this spark, this feeling of energy and I knew the smell of it. It was organic and because I’m a perfectionist I knew it’s what I absolutely had to be doing.” But music was always a part of her, a lifelong dancer and music enthusiast at the age of 4, Lina grew up a “classic rock girl” but diversified in an attempt to embody all types of music.

Over the years, Lina’s eclectic mix has garnered her a huge following, but even more so, her charisma and positive vibe have set her aside from the commonplace and put her name in lights. Hearing Lina speak is almost as artful as hearing her spin. Her words, like her music, are filled with funk, flavor, and most of all, love – her favorite thing in this world.  

Every Thursday, you can feel it for yourself as Lina takes the helm at Gorgeous.  Be prepared to experience the love as Lina captures the crowd, telling her story from the first song to the last.  “I’m a deeply spiritual person and when I look out at the crowd, I don’t see negative energy. I only see the positive.  The relationship we have here on a Thursday is what Gorgeous is all about, it’s intimate, it’s intense, it’s sexual!” 

Whether she’s on Fire Island or working G’s “TV box” – as she describes the infamous booth – Lina is always putting on a show, but most importantly, she never stops doling out the love. In her own words, her promise at Gorgeous Thursdays: “I give my love and the crowd gives it right back. It’s a lovely, sexy, deep thing. It’s Gorgeous!”
