DJ Drew G is no stranger to the NYC nightlife scene and on select Hottie Hour Friday nights he makes the booth at G Lounge his domain!
Drew always knew he was destined to spin – born into a musically inclined family, he learned to master an astounding 10 instruments as a youth. Drew’s musical ability soon carried him to New York City where he landed his first gig, Friday Nights at Stonewall. It didn’t take long for Drew to be accepted as a true professional as he also showcased his business savvy and love for the industry working as an intern at Peter Rauhofer’s Star 69. Drew was quickly offered a full-time job as retail marketing rep for the label. But Drew’s true obsession is his music, and one step into G Lounge with Drew G at the helm and you’ll know that this artist makes it his business to make you move.
Drew recently had the privilege to be chosen from a long list of DJs to spin at the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Dance for Barack Obama. Currently he is working in the studio on Grammy Award-Winning Mya’s sixth album due out Summer 2009!
